Update 3
Posted by
Joshua Green
Laurens pulse is still in the mid 40's and she's now all moved to the
cardiac floor. She's hooked up to a heart monitor and they are
planning on bringing more blood in. Good news is that her hemoglobin
level went up to 7.
Hopefully that's the last update for tonight.

Josh,
Thanks so much for the constant updates. Hoping that they can figure out what is going on and fix Lauren quickly. Hope the next bag of blood has even more good news. Wishing you a quiet and restful night. You both are so exhausted and worn out. Enough is enough!! Give Lauren a big hug and keep us posted.
Love to you both

Not to alarm you but it sounds like something serious is going on like septic shock or internal bleeding. Are they calling in specialists? Her pulse should be alot higher than 45, especially with the blood and fluids. Is the BP low too? Sounds like she needs more intervention and attention. Make sure you are asking the questions and not letting them be passive in their treatment of her.
ADVOCATE!! ADVOCATE!! ADVOCATE!!!

I don't know you both at all, but I went through a lot when my child was delivered extremely premature and I appreciated knowing that people were praying, even strangers. I hope you feel everyone's prayers holding you up right now. I promise you, even in these darkest hours, God is right there beside you...He understands what it feels like to lose a child and Jesus understands suffering unlike any other. Praying for both of you...

I hope yuo won't think this is crazy, but I think you need to pray for her broken heart to be healed, literally. I think perhaps her borkenheartedness is manifesting itself in the physical. I'm praying it for her too.

Oh, I am sorry to hear that she's doing so poorly. Praying the doctors can figure out what is wrong, SOON, and fix it so the two of you can get home and have time to grieve in peace. Praying for Lauren's health right now, and for you as you wait. praying for wisdom for the docs who are treating her.
