Monday Update

As Lauren posted, yesterdays ultrasound showed that all of the babies had good fluid levels. They know that a sac did break because all of the tests performed on the leaking fluid says it is amniotic fluid. They still believe it is Baby B's sac since her head is the one pressing on the cervix and ready to come out. It could be any of their sac's though as the ultrasound hasn't yet been conclusive.

Lauren still hasn't had any contractions and besides the leaking, is stable. This afternoon she was moved from Labor and Delivery (where they actively monitor everything) to Antepartum (where we were before). Laurens bed is a lot more comfortable over here and they let her pick her meals so those are two huge pluses that will help her stay be more comfortable. We also are now transferred to a different 'watch' where the Greys Anatomy crew will come in each morning during rounds. We don't expect to have any other news until they come in the AM.

It amazing how draining this all is. I'm not a person that naps very often yet I feel the uncontrollable urge to sleep several times a day. I can't thank everyone around us enough for helping to take some of the day to day burden off our shoulders. From our parents helping with good meals and watching our house, to our amazing friends that have taken our dogs into their homes, to our co-workers who step up to fill in during our absence - it is truly a blessing that we do not take for granted.

Praying, praying!!!! Keep us updated and good luck with the Grey's Anatomy crew!! We had a doctor we called Doogie Howser. I swear that guy was 2 days over 15 and I was more educated than he was!! I know, I know, they've gotten to the point they are for a reason, it's just hard to trust anyone but our REAL doctor! Praying some more!! Love, The Cochran Crew!

The sleeping is a hospital thing. When my husband had a heart attack a year and half ago I slept alot there.

So happy to hear things are stable enough to move to the Greys Crew!
Sleeping is for the emotional exhaustion not the physical kind.
Praying continually!
