Lauren and I had heard of Dr. John Elliott in Arizona as 'the' Doctor to be with if you are having multiples. Of course prior to a month ago, all tests showed no problems so we had no reason to up and move to AZ for 9 months. Today several of our blog friends have sent articles about out of the box medical treatments closely following diagnosis' of what we are going through now. Each article and email had Dr. Elliott's name in it.

So this afternoon I began tracking him down. I haven't spoken with him yet, but I have had someone tell me they were going to page him and I've also sent an email to the administrator of the medical group he founded.

If anyone has been a patient of his or has any way to share our story with him, please let me know. Waiting around for the worst to happen is not how we want our story to end. Thanks!

Wow that guy is good. He called back already and we had a nice discussion. Although the outcome of the call wasn't what I wanted, it was nice to get an outside opinion.

Unfortunately he gave the same outlook as our doctors. With another sac broken theres nothing more that he would be able to do. The use of Tocolytics like Magnesium wont help since she isn't contracting - plus the leaking amniotic fluid counter acts the drugs. He also agrees that doing anything invasive would be adding risk to an already high risk situation.

So we wait.
