Busy Week
*knock on wood* This has been our first week and weekend at home in a month. I have to say that in comparison to what I've been doing lately its been a pretty busy weekend. I'm a little embarrassed to say that I am exhausted.
Work this week has been pretty darn busy - between international client issues and finalizing some large projects 5pm showed up out of nowhere each day.
Lauren had two Dr visits this week. It was originally supposed to be just one - as a follow-up to her cerclage - but they wanted her to return to make sure that her cervix wasn't rapidly shrinking. Everything seems to be stable and B, C, and D are doing great =)
Fran and Gene, and Allison and Lisa have been a godsends for bringing Lauren lunch each day, running errands, and keeping our house in order. Thanks guys! After work, its near impossible for me to run any errands because I need to get home so having the extra assistance has been a huge relief.
Besides all of the day to day stuff - we have been trying to fully cope and come to grips with the loss of our daughter. This week we officially named Baby A, Heidi Michelle Green. I honestly don't even know what emotions I feel or how to begin to describe them. I just know its pretty depressing to have to fill out a death certificate and cremation authorization.
Yesterday started around 1030am when j came over and took me out on a man lunch date - it was much needed. We did lunch at Hooters and then stopped at the tattoo shop. For those of you who have never met me - I am not the tattoo type however I do have a tattoo. My grandmother started teaching me basic programming on a Commodore 64 when I was 2 years old. As my career is in the Information Technology field, after she passed away I tattooed the first letter of her name (in binary code) on my wrist. She was a very unique woman and one that I dearly miss. With the loss of Heidi I felt that I would continue the tattoo trend.
The Osikowicz's came by yesterday afternoon and we had a nice visit. Kelly is at 40 weeks with Leah and is ready to pop! After what we've gone through so far - we're so happy that her pregnancy has been so textbook =D
The rest of the night nothing really happened. I started to slow cook some pulled pork and I was so ready for bed at 830p.
This morning I could have slept for-ev-er. I really don't feel that I got a good nights rest at all and have been completely out of it most of the day. Through TBAMoms, Lauren found a nice couple that had just moved and was donating all of their moving boxes. I ran out there this morning and packed up the Pathfinder. Thats going to be great since the new house will be ready in no time.
I think thats all for now. Here's to the next week!

We had a wonderful visit and it was so great to see Lauren and the babies doing so well. Congrats on 20 weeks! The fact that you're an awesome husband and dad is making all this that much more do-able. Good luck in the next week, I look forward to the 21 week update.

still praying for you guys. Naming, filling out the certificates...what a hard thing. Heidi is a beautiful name, and your tattoo in her honor/memory is absolutely perfect.
