Start of Day 3

With Day 1 having so much bad news and Day 2 being a day without answers, Day 3 so far is shaping up to be positive. =) We know that we -could- be in worse shape and that the Lord works in mysterious ways.

This morning, the docs gave us the confirmation that Lauren will be here for the long term. Everything had been hinting to that but today was the first time Dr. Parsons said it. Laurens diet is being adjusted to double portions and scheduled snacks. Laurens was very clear with them that shes not shy about eating and feeding 5 people - we think they got the hint. This equates to a much happier Lauren =D

The urgency and concern that we had read on everyones face (at the hospital) the first couple of days seems to have subsided. Lauren hasn't had any additional symptoms and everything still seems to be the same - no better but no worse. Were back to being set on autopilot.

We believe Baby A is still hanging in there. The fact that Lauren is still slowly losing fluid, they say, is a sign that Baby A is still producing fluid. Without an ultrasound or additional tests were not quite sure how they know. An ultrasound isn't scheduled that we know of but the doc did say that it would be 'every couple of days'. Lauren also made it clear that this time she wants me present - they agreed.

The support we have received from everyone is really making a difference and is helping us get through this. We know that we are in the middle of a very long road and the positivity from you all is truly being felt. Since the 20th we have had over 1600 unique visitors to our blogs from 5 continents, 20 countries, and 48 US states - all we can say is w-o-w. The power of prayer and positive thinking is truly an amazing thing.

Thank you and we love you all!
